Planetarium Shows

Planaterium shows are usually held at the National Planetarium in conjunction with events that are being organized by ANGKASA.

On special occasions and events like "World Space Week" or Night Sky Observations and various other events, shows are being held for the major public in the Planetarium's unique Space Theatre which can hold up to 200 visitors for each show. 

This theatre is hemispherical domed in shape and is equipped with a 6-channel digital surround system. The Planetarium Shows are to educate and entertain at the same time and with the special effects from the National Planetarium's Starball, it gives visitors the ability to transfer their imagination right into the realm of outer space.

The special large format film projector allows visitors to feel the thrill of being at the filming location in full suspense thus providing them a lasting awareness of the show that was meant to educate.
