Function

The establishment of the National Planetarium is aimed at enhancing awareness among the Malaysian society on the importance of space science and technology.

It also serves as  an informal space science and technological educational centre for the general public. Its objective is to inspire the general public about space science and technology through the consolidation of space science and technology with the local arts.
