The NSC2016 program has begun with the Qualifying Test that was been held on 08th and 09th August 2016 for 1½ hours across the country. A group of students from each state who gain the highest scores in the NSC2016 Qualifying Test will be entitled them to participate in the NSC2016 Final Program on 31st October to 03rd November 2016 at National Planetarium Kuala Lumpur. CONGRATULATION to all NSC2016 finalist contestants.

The Cassini Scientist for a Day contest challenges students to become NASA scientists studying Saturn. Participants examine three possible observations (i.e. Target 1, Target 2 and Target 3) taken by Cassini and are tasked to choose the one they think will yield the best scientific results. A Poster Contest for children will be organized as part of the National Space Challenge Prime Minister’s Trophy 2016 (NSC2016) program which is organized annually by the National Space Agency (ANGKASA), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). This poster contest will give children an opportunity to delve into the depth of their imagination, exercise their creativity and showcase their ideas in the art form. The contest aims to enhance interest in and awareness of space science and technology amongst young generation.
